Tavoloo
    Feature · Reviews

Reviews do not just turn up. You ask for them.

The happy guest walks out and writes nothing: nobody asked. The unhappy one does write, and writes it on Google. Tavoloo flips that: it asks everyone, at the right moment, and only sends to Google the people who already said they enjoyed it.

A hand tapping the fifth star on a phone screen
    What the guest sees

    One tap, not a questionnaire

    1

They get an email after the visit

It goes out after the number of hours you set, following the delivery or the dinner. Never while they are still eating.
    2

    They tap a star

The five stars are links inside the email: one tap and the rating is recorded. No form to open, no field to fill.
    3

Then, if they feel like it, a couple of lines

The comment is optional and comes after the star. Anyone who cannot be bothered has already left their score.
    The fork

Four stars or more go to Google. The rest come to you.

    High rating

They see a thank you and the button to leave the review on Google, where it works for you. It is the moment they are most willing: they have just said they liked it.

    Low rating

They see no Google link at all. They see a field to tell you what went wrong, and that message lands in your panel. Sending an unhappy guest to Google is an own goal, and we do not do it.

People walking past read what everyone else wrote.

Online reputation is not vanity: it is the first thing seen by someone who does not know you yet and is deciding where to eat tonight.

    The rules

    Ask, yes. Nag, no.

Whoever answered is never asked again

If that email address has already left a rating at your venue, it is never asked again. The lock is on the email, not the customer record: the same person can have two records, and asking twice would be annoying.

You decide when it goes out

You set how many hours pass after the delivery or the booking. The message goes out on its own, every hour, for whoever falls inside the window.

    Orders and bookings

It covers delivered orders and bookings that have passed. ⚠️ A booking that was not cancelled counts as honoured: there is no "actually showed up" stamp.

    It starts switched off

The feature ships disabled. Turning it on means starting to write to your guests, and that decision is yours, not ours.

    No Google link, no pretending

If you have not added your Google profile link yet, a high rating just sees a thank you. We do not send them anywhere, and the panel tells you it is missing.

The rating is yours, so is the summary

Ratings, comments and averages stay in your panel. They are your restaurant’s data, not some platform’s in the middle.

    One thing said plainly

We will not promise you a number of reviews. How many arrive depends on how many guests you have and how you treat them, and that is not something we can guarantee. What we can say is that asking, at the right moment and with a single tap, works better than not asking.

Reviews are included is included in both Managed ($416 a month, we run it) and Suite ($139 a month, you run it). No fee per redemption.
