Tavoloo
Feature · Order at the table

Four people talking at once and one notepad.

The waiter walks back to the table three times because one changed their mind, one asked about ingredients and one had not decided yet. With ordering at the table they build it calmly on their phone and send when they are ready, all at once.

    What the guest sees

    Decide calmly, send once

    1

    They scan the table QR

Your menu opens, with photos, ingredients and allergens. If they are unsure they read it there, instead of asking the waiter who has six other tables.
    2

    They build their order

They pick portions and variants, add a note if needed, and watch the total as they go.
    3

They send it to the kitchen

The order leaves with the table number on it and lands where the food is cooked. Nobody has to transcribe it.

The ticket arrives written, not shouted.

Something always gets lost between the notepad and the kitchen: a variant, a note, a table number. Here the dish the guest tapped is exactly the one read at the pass.

    How it works inside

The ticket joins the flow you already have

It lands in Orders and on the monitor

A table ticket joins the same list as online orders and the same kitchen monitor, with the table number where the address would be. Whoever cooks learns nothing new.

    No pointless data

At the table we ask for no address and no phone: they are already there. They build and send, without filling in a form.

    No delivery fee

Ordering at the table carries no delivery fee and does not use the first-order discount, which exists for people ordering from home for the first time.

    Variants and notes come through

Portion, dish version and whatever note the guest writes arrive with the line. Exactly what gets lost when it is spoken.

    The table is verified

The number is not just a word in the address: it is checked against your real tables. No QR, no ticket.

    It lives alongside your waiter

Whoever prefers to order out loud orders out loud. This is not a replacement, it is one more lane for the moments when you are underwater.
    What it does not do

    Payment stays yours

No online payment at the table

Tavoloo does not take the money for a table ticket: the guest pays at the table or at the till, exactly as they do today. You choose which of the two to say, and the guest page says it.

It is not a till or a POS

It issues no receipts and runs no cash drawer. If you already have your own system, this feature feeds it tickets rather than replacing it.

It does not open or close tables

It does not hold an open tab in the way a management system would: every send is a ticket that reaches the kitchen.

You switch it on when you want

The feature ships off: you turn it on from the panel when you decide it fits your service, and off with the same switch.

    One thing said plainly

This feature is not for everyone. If your place is small and the conversation with the waiter is half the experience, you may not need it. It is for venues with many covers, many tables, or moments when the room jams and people are waiting only to be heard. In the demo we work that out in five minutes by looking at your service.
