Tavoloo
    Feature · Abandoned cart

They had picked everything. Then the phone rang.

A full cart that was never confirmed is the closest thing to an order you have. Nobody turned it down: it just sat there. Tavoloo sends one reminder, exactly one, with the dishes that person had already chosen.

    How it works

    A reminder, not a chase

    1

They type their email at checkout

The cart lives on their phone; what we need is the address, which they type themselves to complete the order. If they do not type it, there is nothing to save.
    2

The time you set goes by

If they confirm the order inside that window, the email simply does not go out. The reminder is for people who did not come back, not for people who did.
    3

They get their dishes, not an advert

The message contains the lines they had chosen and a button back to your page. On the same phone, the cart is still there.

The order that was not there, arriving anyway.

You are not buying a new customer. You are finishing a conversation that had already started, with someone who had already chosen what they wanted to eat.

    The rules

    One reminder. One.

If they come back, they get nothing

If that address (or that phone) places an order after leaving the cart, the record turns to recovered and the email does not go out. Nobody gets reminded of something they already did.

If they try again, the timer restarts

A second cart from the same address within 24 hours updates the first one instead of creating another: the person came back, it is not a new case.

At most one every seven days

The same address never gets more than one reminder a week from your venue, even if they abandon a cart every evening.

    Window closes at 48 hours

After two days the moment has passed and the reminder no longer goes out. An email about a Wednesday cart landing on Saturday is just noise.

The table stays out of it

It only covers online orders. A table order creates no record at all: you are already there, there is nothing to win back.

    If something fails, it retries

If the send fails, the record goes back into the queue instead of staying marked as notified. Better a delay than a lost reminder.
    The data

    Off means off

With the feature off, nothing is stored

This is not a promise: it is the first check in the procedure. If you have not switched recovery on, the address is never even written. The feature ships switched off.

    Thirty days and gone

Records delete themselves after thirty days, on every run. We do not keep old carts for the sake of keeping them.

It is not a marketing list

It is a pre-contractual measure (GDPR art. 6.1.b): a service message about an order the person was in the middle of. The footer says so, and only one goes out.

    The coupon is your call

You can attach a discount code to the reminder. ⚠️ When you do, the message becomes an offer rather than just a service message: the panel tells you before you decide.

    One thing said plainly

We will not tell you how many carts you will win back. It depends on your menu, your prices and why that person stopped, and none of those are under our control. What we do know is that right now that order does not come back on its own.

Cart recovery is included is included in both Managed ($416 a month, we run it) and Suite ($139 a month, you run it). No fee per redemption.

Managed is a 12-month contract of $4,990 a year, with setup and migration included and a 90-day guarantee.

Prices exclude any taxes due in your country. Invoiced by FM Solutions & Consulting USA LLC (Orlando, FL, USA).
